From the Vellayani lake area (Kakkamoola or Kalliyoor side), head north-east via Pravachambalam junction and continue toward Malayinkil. The 12 km drive takes approximately 22–25 minutes during off-peak hours and avoids the worst of Trivandrum city traffic by skirting around it.
We live near Punchakkari paddy fields. Will my dog enjoy a farm setting?

Yes. The Pravachambalam-to-Malayinkil road is a tarred state-maintained route. Even during heavy Kerala monsoons, the road remains open. We do request that drop-off times be respected (6–9 AM) to avoid the unpredictable afternoon showers.
