Boarding Policies & Vet Care

Every rule we run the farm by, in plain language — vaccination requirements, the mandatory trial visit, what happens in a medical emergency, how cancellations work, and which dogs we turn away. If anything here is unclear before you book, call +91 77363 90719 and ask.

Trial visit — mandatory, no exceptions

Every dog must complete a trial visit before their first boarding stay. There is no way to skip it, not even for a same-day emergency booking.

The visit runs between 6–9 AM by appointment and takes about an hour. We watch how your dog greets other dogs, how they settle when you step away, and how they handle open space. That tells us which group they belong in — and occasionally that group boarding is not right for them at all, which we will say plainly rather than take the booking and hope.

Vaccination & parasite policy

Core vaccines must be current: rabies, distemper, parvovirus and leptospirosis. Tick and flea prevention must be applied within 3 days before the stay begins.

Bring the vaccination card to the trial visit — we record the dates and will not board a dog whose cover has lapsed. This protects every other dog on the farm, including the anxious and senior dogs who are least able to fight off an infection. Puppies may board once their primary course is complete.

Emergency vet protocol

If a dog shows signs of illness or injury, we call you first and drive to a veterinary clinic immediately — we do not wait for a callback if the situation is urgent.

Staff are on the land throughout the day and dogs are checked overnight. We keep a first-aid kit on site, and every owner gives us a contact number plus permission to seek treatment at intake. Routine treatment costs are billed at actual clinic rates with the receipt; we do not add a markup. Tell us at the trial visit if your dog is on medication, has a known condition, or has a regular vet you would prefer we use.

Cancellation & refunds

Cancel 48 hours or more before the stay and the booking moves to another date at no cost. Inside 48 hours, one night is retained and the rest is transferable.

Peak periods — Onam, Christmas, school holidays and the April–May travel season — book out weeks ahead, so a late cancellation usually means a dog who needed the space could not get it. Membership days are never lost to a cancellation: they return to your annual balance.

What we will not take

We decline dogs with a bite history toward other dogs, unspayed females in season, and any dog whose trial visit shows they are unsafe in a group.

This is the least popular paragraph on the site and the most important one. Cage-free boarding only works because every dog in a group belongs there. A facility that accepts every dog on any day is telling you something about how closely it is watching.
