Pet Boarding in Trivandrum — What Makes Neolokam Different
Most pet boarding in Thiruvananthapuram means a tiled room and a wire gate: your dog waits out the week in a two-metre square and comes home wound tight. Neolokam is the other model. Boarding here happens across 1.5 acres of working farmland, in small groups matched by temperament after a trial visit, with staff on the land all day. Dogs walk, dig, swim and nap in the shade — the same things they would do at home, with more room and more company.
That structure is also why we can take pet boarding cases other facilities turn away: anxious rescues, senior dogs who need a quiet corner, two dogs from the same house who should stay together, and dogs on medication who need someone watching. What we do not do is take every dog on any day — the trial visit is mandatory, and if a dog is not safe in a group we will tell you so rather than take the booking.
what cage-free really means
Neolokam vs Standard Kennels
Most places call themselves cage-free but still confine dogs in small rooms. At Neolokam, cage-free means 1.5 acres of open land — soil under paws, trees overhead, water to swim in.

How Boarding Works
Trial Visit (Mandatory)
You bring your dog for a trial visit between 6–9 AM. We assess behaviour, energy level, and social compatibility. No boarding without this step.
Assessment & Grouping
Based on the trial, we place your dog in the right group — Saints (calm), Fireballs (high energy), or Stars (sensitive). Correct grouping is safety.
Book & Board
Once cleared, book your boarding days by call or WhatsApp. Pickup/drop after 9 AM. Daily updates throughout the stay.
