Daycare dogs have the same access to the farm as boarded dogs — every acre, every activity, every benefit. The only difference is they go home in the evening.
Most dog daycare in Trivandrum means a room, perhaps a small yard, and a handler watching from a distance. Neolokam daycare means 1.5 acres. Dogs that come for the day are assigned to their group — Saints, Fireballs, or Stars — and spend the day doing what dogs are built to do: moving, exploring, socialising, and resting.
The 6–9 AM drop-off window is important. This is when the farm is at its most active — the cool morning hours are ideal for play and exercise. Dogs that arrive early get the most from their day. Is daycare suitable for puppies?
Puppies from around 5–6 months old and fully vaccinated are welcome for daycare. Younger puppies under 4 months are not recommended as they need a completed vaccination schedule before group socialisation. For older puppies in the 5–8 month range, daycare on the open farm is actually one of the best socialisation environments available in Trivandrum.
What if my dog is reactive with other dogs?
Reactive dogs are assessed individually during the mandatory trial visit. Depending on the severity, they may be placed in a smaller, calmer group — our 'Saints' grouping — with carefully matched companions. Some reactive dogs improve significantly with structured farm exposure. We will be honest with you if daycare is not yet suitable for your dog.
