How to rehome a dog

Prepare photos and videos
Clear photos showing your dog's appearance, size and distinctive features, plus short videos of their personality, play and, where safe, how they behave with people, children and other animals.

Send the full information
Name, age, breed, sex, location, your contact number, vaccination and neutering status, medical history, temperament, interactions, any aggression or bite history, special needs and the reason for rehoming.

Share it widely yourself too
Share the same details with friends, family, adoption pages and rescue communities. Neolokam may also share a complete request through its own network and relevant groups.

The original owner and the new adopter are responsible for checking suitability, making arrangements and completing the handover.

Is Neolokam an adoption centre or shelter?
No. Neolokam is a voluntary information-sharing and networking intermediary. It does not take custody of dogs or manage adoptions.
How do I send a rehoming request?
On WhatsApp only, not by phone call. Use the button on this page: the message lists every detail needed. Then send clear photos and videos of your dog.
Who is responsible for checking the new home?
The current owner and the adopter. They check suitability, make the arrangements and complete the handover between themselves.
Can I leave my dog at Neolokam until a home is found?
No. Neolokam does not offer free shelter or fostering. If you need paid care in the meantime, see the boarding packages.
Does Neolokam sell or breed dogs?
No. Neolokam does not support dog breeding or dog sales, and encourages rescue, adoption and responsible fostering.
