Published dog boarding prices in Kerala are thin on the ground, but the starting rates we could find on 4 November 2026 were about ₹500 a night in Trivandrum, ₹650 a night in Kochi and ₹500 a night in Kozhikode, each from a home-boarding listing on a pet-sitting marketplace; we found no published dog boarding price for Thrissur. Bengaluru listings ran from about ₹130 to ₹900 a night on one directory, and from ₹300 to ₹2,500 a day across tiers on another site. This guide is for families in Trivandrum (Thiruvananthapuram), and for anyone comparing boarding across Kerala and Bengaluru before a trip or a move. Every non-Neolokam figure below is labelled with its source and the date we opened it. Neolokam's confirmed prices are included as one data point, not as the market average. Prices change often, so treat these as a starting point and get written quotes.

3-Day Dog Village Vacation

₹5,555 for 3 days + 18% GST. A three-day, all-inclusive holiday for your dog, not just a boarding stay.

How we collected these prices

Most boarding businesses in Kerala do not publish prices; they quote on the phone or WhatsApp. So the figures here come from pages that do show a price: pet-sitting marketplace listings, a city services directory, a comparison platform and an India-wide price roundup.

  • •We only used prices printed on pages we opened, and we give the date.
  • •A listing shows one provider's starting price, not a city average.
  • •Marketplace listings can be old, and some hosts were marked as taking a break.
  • •Listings rarely say whether GST, platform fees, food or pickup are included.
  • •We do not name or rate other providers.

If you know a provider's published rate card, it is the best source of all. Ask for it in writing.

Trivandrum

Published prices in Trivandrum, as of 4 November 2026:

  • •Neolokam, cage-free farm, long-term boarding (confirmed): ₹444 a day standard, ₹555 a day additional care, ₹666 a day heavy and giant breeds, all + 18% GST. Including GST that is about ₹524, ₹655 and ₹786 a day.
  • •Neolokam monthly boarding (confirmed): ₹9,999 to ₹17,777 a month + GST, personalised to the dog.
  • •Neolokam 3-Day Dog Village Vacation (confirmed): ₹5,555 + GST, including meals, grooming, home pickup and drop, and videos.
  • •Home boarding listing on an international pet-sitting marketplace: from ₹500 a night (opened 4 November 2026; no customer reviews shown).

Neolokam does not publish a short-stay nightly price, so ask the team for a quote for your dates. Pickup and drop-off are available for confirmed boarding by appointment from Kollodu, Edathara, Malayinkil, Kattakkada, Nemom, Karamana, Balaramapuram, Neyyattinkara, Kovalam, Pattom, Kowdiar, Vellayambalam, Sasthamangalam, Kazhakkoottam, Technopark and Sreekaryam; ask about charges.

Kochi

Published prices in Kochi, as of 4 November 2026:

  • •Cage-free home boarding listing near Kakkanad on an international pet-sitting marketplace: from ₹650 a night (opened 4 November 2026; the host was shown as taking a break, and no reviews were shown).
  • •The same marketplace's Kochi dog boarding search page, and a national pet-services app's Kochi boarding page, showed no prices without entering dates.

Kochi has a large number of boarding providers, many listed in directories without prices. Expect to ask each one directly. If you are travelling from Kochi to board a dog in Trivandrum, factor in the drive both ways, or ask whether pickup covers your area.

Kozhikode

Published prices in Kozhikode, as of 4 November 2026:

  • •Home boarding listing in the East Hill area on an international pet-sitting marketplace: from ₹500 a night, accepting dogs (opened 4 November 2026; the host was shown as taking a break).

Other Kozhikode marketplace listings we found were for cats or appeared to be several years old, so we have not used them. As in Kochi, most local facilities quote prices on request.

Thrissur

Published prices in Thrissur, as of 4 November 2026:

  • •We found no published dog boarding price. The pet-sitting marketplace's Thrissur dog boarding page listed no prices when we opened it on 4 November 2026.

That does not mean boarding in Thrissur is cheaper or dearer than elsewhere, only that prices are not published online. Call two or three places, ask for a written quote for your exact dates and your dog's size, and ask what is included.

Bengaluru

Bengaluru has far more published prices, which makes it a useful benchmark for Kerala families who move between the two.

  • •City pet-services directory: dog and cat boarding at ₹130 to ₹900 a night, with a typical listing around ₹500 a night (no date shown on the page; opened 4 November 2026).
  • •Pet services comparison platform (page dated 20 November 2024): three per-day tiers of ₹300 to ₹600, ₹700 to ₹1,200 and ₹1,300 to ₹2,500.
  • •India-wide price roundup by an Indian pet-food brand, covering 14 providers and platforms, prices checked 11 October 2026: dog boarding listed at ₹499 to ₹1,699 a night across Indian cities; its single Bengaluru home-boarding host was listed at ₹500 a night.

The Bengaluru range is wider at both ends: very cheap home stays and premium facilities with higher prices.

No other provider in these cities published a monthly boarding rate on the pages we opened.

What makes prices differ

Two places with the same nightly price can be offering very different stays. These are the usual drivers:

  • •Land and rent: city-centre premises cost more than land on the edge of a city, and the cost shows up in the price, the space, or both.
  • •Cage, kennel, home or cage-free farm: a home boarder may look after a few dogs in their house; a kennel keeps dogs in runs; a cage-free farm gives dogs open ground and group time. Each has a different cost to run.
  • •Staffing: whether trained people are on site at night, and how many dogs each person watches.
  • •Food: home-cooked meals, branded dry food, or your own food from home.
  • •Size and care needs: large and giant breeds, seniors, puppies, dogs on medication and dogs needing extra attention often cost more.
  • •Length of stay: long stays and monthly plans usually work out cheaper per day.
  • •Pickup and extras: pickup and drop, grooming, swimming, training and updates may be included or charged separately.
  • •Tax and fees: GST and platform fees may or may not be in the advertised number.

Neolokam's monthly price, for example, depends on breed, size, coat type, age, health, temperament, diet, grooming frequency, behaviour or training needs, exercise needs, individual attention and length of stay.

How to compare quotes fairly

Use this checklist when you call or WhatsApp any boarding place in any city.

  • •Total price for my exact dates, including GST and any fees.
  • •Is the price per night or per 24 hours, and how are check-in and check-out times counted?
  • •What food is included, and can I send my dog's own food?
  • •Where does my dog sleep, and who is on site at night?
  • •Is my dog in a cage or kennel at any time? For how long?
  • •How do you group dogs, and do you assess temperament first?
  • •Which vaccinations and parasite prevention do you require?
  • •Are pickup and drop-off available for my area, and what do they cost?
  • •What extras cost more: grooming, medication, swimming, festival dates?
  • •How often will I get photos or videos?
  • •What happens if my dog is unwell?
  • •Can I visit before booking?

Common questions

How much does dog boarding cost per day in Kerala?

On the pages we opened on 4 November 2026, published starting prices for home boarding were ₹500 a night in Trivandrum, ₹650 in Kochi and ₹500 in Kozhikode, each from a single marketplace listing. Neolokam, a cage-free farm in Trivandrum, charges ₹444 to ₹666 a day + 18% GST for long-term boarding. Prices change with the dog's size, care needs, length of stay and what is included, so always ask for a written quote.

Is dog boarding cheaper in Kerala than in Bengaluru?

Published starting prices look broadly similar. A Bengaluru pet-services directory listed boarding at ₹130 to ₹900 a night, with a typical listing around ₹500, when we opened it on 4 November 2026. The Kerala listings we found started at ₹500 to ₹650 a night. Bengaluru has far more listings and a wider spread, including premium tiers above ₹1,300 a day on one comparison site.

How much does monthly dog boarding cost in Trivandrum?

Neolokam's personalised monthly boarding is ₹9,999 to ₹17,777 per month + 18% GST, about ₹11,799 to ₹20,977 including GST, depending on breed, size, coat, age, health, temperament, diet and care needs. For comparison, 30 nights at a ₹500 nightly rate would be ₹15,000. Few other providers publish monthly rates, so ask each one for a long-stay quote in writing.

Do dog boarding prices in Kerala include GST?

Not always, and listings rarely say. Neolokam's prices are all quoted plus 18% GST, so ₹444 a day becomes about ₹524. Marketplace and directory prices may or may not include tax, platform fees, food, pickup or extras. When you compare quotes, ask each place for the full amount you will actually pay for your dates, including tax and every add-on.

Why are some dog boarding places much cheaper?

Price usually reflects what is included: how much space and supervision dogs get, whether they are kept in cages or kennels, what food is provided, whether staff are on site at night, and whether pickup, grooming or updates are included. A low price can be fair for a simple home stay, but compare like with like, visit before booking and ask what happens at night and in an emergency.

Bottom Line

Published dog boarding prices across Kerala are scarce, but the dated figures we could find put home-boarding starting rates at around ₹500 to ₹650 a night in Trivandrum, Kochi and Kozhikode, with no published price in Thrissur, while Bengaluru shows a wider spread from very cheap home stays to premium facilities. Compare total prices for your dates, and compare what each stay actually includes. For Neolokam's long-term, monthly or 3-day prices and a quote for your dates, call or WhatsApp +91 77363 90719 between 6:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
